ACTIVITY -Community SENSITIZATION ON Sexual Reproductive Health Rights, GBV and Post Abortion Care Services
OBJECTIVES :
• Conduct advocacy to stakeholders and community leaders and advocate the importance of educating women and young girls on SRHR.
• Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse (PSEA).
• Carry out awareness and sensitization with women, youths and professional groups on the issue of unsafe abortion and availability of Post Abortion Care services to provide information.
• Collaborate with Hope center to refer victims for, health care providers for treatment resulting from unsafe abortion, rape, GBV, trauma and proffer proper counseling with regards to Sexual Reproductive Health Right
• Identify safe and confidential systems of care using existing SRH referral pathways
• Discourage having unsafe abortion and encourage the use of contraceptives and child spacing mechanism for family planning.
• Advocate for policies and sustainability of the project by Government and Communities
